What are the Epic Universe Hotels? We are answering that question and giving details on what you need to know about the hotels at Epic Universe.
Epic Universe is the latest theme park at the Universal Orlando Resort. It has moved a little over 5 miles down the street from the epicenter of the previous Universal Orlando parks.
The Universal Expansion not only brings us a new theme park but also 3 new hotels. I recently stayed at Stella Nova Resort and have a summer visit to Helios that I can’t wait for!
What are the Epic Universe Hotels
- Stella Nova Resort (Prime Value)
- Terra Luna Resort (Prime Value, Opening March 25)
- Helios Grand Resort (Signature Collection, Opening May 22)
There are three new hotels that will be within walking distance of Epic Universe. Stella Nova Resort and Terra Luna Resort are across the street from Epic Universe.
Helios Grand Resort will have a dedicated Epic Universe entrance. All of the hotels have Epic Universe views but Helios will have a birds eye view of the park.
Let’s take a look at you can expect from these Universal hotels near Epic Universe.
Stella Nova Resort
We recently returned from a stay at Stella Nova Resort and were impressed. The cosmos theme is subtle but welcoming. The team members were helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our dinner at the quick service restaurant, Cosmo Cafe & Market.
Our room was overlooking Epic Universe and that allowed us to see firework testing for when Epic opens. Once open it will be about a 10 minute walk to the park. Read my full review: Universal Stella Nova Resort Review: Our First Stay
Terra Luna Resort
Terra Luna Resort is complimentary to Stella Nova Resort. They have similar layouts and price ranges. Terra Luna also has a walking path and views of Epic Universe.
Both of these resorts are in the Prime Value Hotels category. The price is mid-range typically between $175.00 and $250.00 a night.
They offer early park admission to all parks and shuttle bus transportation. Keep in mind the shuttle bus will take 15-20 minutes to get you to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure as well as CityWalk.
Helios Grand
Helios Grand will be in the signature collection of hotels at Universal. It will have views inside the Epic Universe park as well as a designated entrance for hotel guests. Average rates start at $510.00 a night.
Helios will have on property dining as well as How to Train Your Dragon themed family suites. Shuttle Bus will be available to take guests to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure.
As of now (March 2025) Universal Express Pass will not be included with your stay at Helios Grand.
I’m happy to see the Epic Universe hotels offer guests different options in different price ranges. I think these hotels will be popular with guests planning to visit the Universal parks.
