meteor astropub at epic universe

Meteor Astropub is one of the many great dining options at Epic Universe. My family of 5 dined there and today I am sharing the cost and review of Meteor Astropub at Epic Universe.

The subtle theme of a meteor with lights across the ceiling as well as the outdoor dining with great views of the park make Meteor Astropub a great option for your day at Epic Universe.

Meteor Astropub at Epic Universe

Meteor Astropub is located in the Celestial Park area of Epic Universe. Guests need a Epic Universe park ticket to diner but you do not need reservations.

It is a casual celestial themed pub that offers pub food and specialty beverages. The theme is subtle but it has nice lightning and can be a calm place to dine during off peak hours.

I was impressed with our meal and enjoyed the overall ambiance of our dining experience.

Menu

This family friendly gastropub is a great choice for beer enthusiast that want great pub food options. The menu includes burgers, fish and chips, salads, and desserts. Full menu details here. There are also Coke Freestyle Machines for guests that have reusable cups, to fill water bottles, or if you ordered a fountain drink.

What We Ordered & Cost

  • Fish & Chips
  • Chicken & Waffle Sandwich
  • Chicken Fingers
  • Big Bang Burger
  • Astronomer’s Shortcake Skillet (Dessert)

We actually ended up eating at Meteor Astropub twice in one night. First we headed in for dinner. We found a table, dining area is on the small side so finding a table may be challenging during busy times.

Once at the table you can scan the QR code and place your order. Each table has a number assigned that you will input into the app with your order. Your food is then brought out to you.

If you do not want to use the app there are counters to order to pay with cash.

Everything we ordered was delicious. It is basic pub food but it is done well and everyone enjoyed their meals.

After our meal we headed back into the park and that is when the weather took a turn. There was a lightning storm that lasted hours and shut down many attractions. We decided at that point to head back to Meteor Astropub for dessert and to wait out the storm.

We ordered the Astronomer’s Shortcake Skillet to share. It wasn’t huge but it was enough for each of us to try a bit. After we ate we headed to the outside seating area to sit and watch the storm.

Our overall cost was 99.00 for dinner and a dessert to share. This is typical for quick service dining at the park for a family of 5.

Final Thoughts

When we first started planning our Epic Universe itinerary I wasn’t sure if Meteor Astropub would make the list because there are so many great places to eat at Epic Universe but we were really happy to include it.

Spending time at the outside dining area during the lightning storm was a really nice atmosphere. The restaurant itself is a bit cramped but the food was really good.

If the weather is nice consider dining outside for views of the fountain. Overall this is a great option to include in your day at Epic Universe.
