Are you planning a day at Universal’s Islands of Adventure and need to know what to eat? In this post I’m sharing the best places to eat at Islands of Adventure to help you decide which ones to include in your day at the parks.
Eating has become a big part of our days at Universal Orlando. We like to include new places to eat and also include our favorites during our Universal trips.
When I create our Islands of Adventure itinerary I not only include the rides we want to do, I include the places we want to eat.
Some visits we try new dining spots and other times we include family favorites. As a family of 5 it can be tricky finding places everyone enjoys. I have shared my top 10 places to eat at Universal Orlando, but this list is specific to Islands of Adventure.
Be sure to check back before your next visits to the park as I will update it as I try new places!
Best Places to Eat at Islands of Adventure
Dining at Islands of Adventure is pretty good! We have a few favorites that we rotate through on different visit. The 3 below are (in my opinion) the dining you want to include in your day at the park.
- Thunder Falls
- Three Broomsticks
- Circus McGurkus
Thunder Falls Terrace
Thunder Falls Terrace is a hidden gem that once your discover you will keep going back to. It is located in the Jurassic Park area between River Adventure and Kong. Thunder Falls Terrace offers BBQ ribs, rotisserie chicken and rice bowls. The portions are huge and big enough to share.

Three Broomsticks
Three Broomsticks is located in Hogsmeade and has become one of our favorite spots to eat. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We go for the fish & chips with a frozen butterbeer. It is my absolute favorite and I include it in our Islands of Adventure visits every time we visit.

Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-Pendous
The ambiance and theme of this restaurant, located in Seuss Landing, is what makes it a fun place to include in your day. Bright colors and circus theming are throughout the casual dining restaurant. The High in the Sky Trolley also goes through the restaurant from above.
Circus McGurkus offers a variety of options from pizza pasta to burgers, and chicken and waffles. It is a great option for young kids or families that want a lot of options.

Final Thoughts
A good place to eat for our family offers great food at a great price. We typically eat at the quick service restaurants to save us time in the park, and it never means we skimp out on great eats.
If you want to do a full service restaurant-Mythos is the most popular. This sit down restaurant offers seafood entrees and a nice dining experience. We have eaten there once and overall it was fine but not worth the price or our time.
I choose these places to eat at Islands of Adventure because they are family friendly, mid-range cost, and offer great food options for your day at the park.
