Universal Orlando Ride Height Requirements (All Parks)

Planning a visit to Universal Orlando? An important step is researching the Universal Orlando ride height requirements. In this post I am sharing the height requirements for all the Universal Orlando parks.

I’ve been visiting the Universal Orlando parks since my kids were small and knowing the ride height requirements for each park is so important to plan our visit.

There are 4 parks at Universal: Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, and Volcano Bay. Each offer rides and attractions ranging from no height requirement to guests required to be 54″ for the bigger thrill rides.

Universal Studios Florida Height Requirements

No Height Requirement. Under 48″ Must Ride with an Adult.

• Kang & Kodos’ Twirl n Hurl
• Illuminations Villain-Con Minion Blast

Must Be 34″. Under 48″ Must Ride with an Adult

• E.T. Adventure

Must Be 36″. Under 48″ Must Ride with an Adult

• Troll’s Trollercoaster

Must Be 40″. Under 48″ Must Ride with an Adult

• Despicable Me Minion Mayhem (Those under 40″ may ride on the stationary seats.)
• Fast & Furious Supercharged
• Race through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon
• The Simpsons Ride
• Transformers: The Ride 3D

Must Be 42″. Under 48″ Must Ride with an Adult

• Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
• Men in Black Alien Attack!

Must Be 48″

• Revenge of the Mummy

Must be 51″

• Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (Must be between 51″ and 79″, Closing August 18, 2025)

Universal Islands of Adventure Height Requirements

No Height Requirement. Under 48″ Must Ride with an Adult

• Caro-Seuss-el
• Storm Force Accelatron
• Hogwarts Express
• One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

Must Be 36″. Under 48″ Must Ride with an Adult.

• The Cat in the Hat
• Flight of the Hippogriff
• The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride!
• Pteranodon Flyers– Guests 56″ or taller must ride with a guest 36″. Adults can’t ride this as a single rider or with another adult.
• Skull Island: Reign of Kong

Must Be 40″. Under 48″ Must Ride with an Adult

• The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man

Must Be 42″. Under 48″ Must Ride with an Adult

• Jurassic Park River Adventure 
• Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges

Must Be 44″
