Universal Epic Universe is the newest park to join the Universal Orlando Resort. This guide to Epic Universe is everything we know so far.

Epic Universe has been highly anticipated since 2019. In May 22, 2025 Epic Universe will finally open its doors to its first guests. Currently Team Members have been testing and it is going to be an incredible addition to Universal.

All the rides, dining, shows, and shopping has been announced so lets jump into what to expect at Epic Universe.

Ambiance of the Park

All guests will enter Epic Universe through a portal that opens to Celestial Park. This is the center of the park. From there guests can enter other portals to the 4 lands at the park.

There will be gardens, shopping, and attractions in the Celestial Park area.

Lands and layout

There will be five lands at Epic Universe. They will be fully immerse and guests will enter portals to visit. They are:

  • Celestial Park
  • How to Train Your Dragon-Isle of Berk
  • Super Nintendo World
  • Dark Universe
  • The Wizarding World of Harry Potter- Ministry of Magic

Tickets for Epic Universe

Currently tickets are available for Annual Passholders, Military, or to purchase as part of a package through Universal Orlando vacation. This includes 1 day at Epic Universe and days at the other parks.

There are 31 dining locations that include sit-down restaurants, quick service dining, and snacks. I go into details of the dining in each land article. The dining options are:

Early Park Admission

Early Park admission will be available to hotel guests for the following attractions starting May 23, 2025-December 31, 2025:

  • Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
  • Yoshi’s Adventure
  • Mine-Cart Madness
  • Stardust Racers

Shows

There are two main shows at Epic Universe. They are Le Cirque Arcanus at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Ministry of Magic and The Untrainable Dragon at How to Train Your Dragon-Isle of Berk.

Epic Universe Hotels

There are 3 Epic Universe hotels within walking distance of the theme park. They are:

  • Stella Nova Resort
  • Terra Luna Resort
  • Helios Grande Resort (Look for a review in September!!)
